i call my chick at home by her name and it does respond...but yes they dont wanna let u pet around them liek dog does when they wanna play ...reason being they are different then dogs....

Becasue you haven't taken the time to train it correctly.

I have chickens and they come when they are called. By name. Here are some web site that talk about chickens as pets.

sorry to tell you this but my chickens do, it might have something to do with the fact that I have a container of food that I shake and call at the same time and they run as fast as they can to get to it LOL.

you have to train them and they will. It takes more time beacuse theyre brains are so small. LOL

You have to train them when the are young. when they still have no hair hahaha. spend a lot of time with them and they will listend,.
